Union Membership Tracking Implementation
A custom union tracking implementation built using browser storage and session management, enabling the platform to recognize a visitor’s union membership context and adjust content display accordingly. The session-layer approach keeps the tracking stateless on the server - no additional database queries, no server-side session storage - while persisting the necessary context across the browsing session so members encounter the right content throughout their visit.
Content Personalization by Membership Category
Union membership status tracked at the session level allowed different benefit content, plan documents, and rate information to be served to different member categories from within the same WordPress sub-site. The implementation mapped to Union Savings’ specific membership structure without requiring a separate site deployment per category.
Standard IDEA Sub-Site Delivery
The full standard IDEA setup was also delivered: architecture design per Union Savings’ content requirements, ACF panel configuration for the benefits data model, default theme setup within the multisite network, plugin and deployment troubleshooting, and end-user documentation for the client team.
